On tap at Usedlost Ladronka, Prague. Shared with Ogi. Clear golden, small off-white head. Soft citrusy aroma, lightly hoppy. Lightly malty, very drinkable. Nice bitterness, maybe even too much. Light body, moderate carbonation, light dry finish.

PET Bottle @ Usedlost Ladronka, Prague. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, hay, citrus. Flavor is light bitter, malt, yeasty, somewhat rough, hay, citrus. Medium body, average to lively carbonation, light bitter finish. 050820

Oooh finally. Tap at Usedlost Ladronka. My last visit left me without a Heyl rate, but this time, they had their beer! Murky golden beer, thick, lasting creamy off white head. Dusty, vaguely herbal aroma, lightly fruity. Dry taste, intensive dusty-herbal bitterness with some tired fruitiness. Yeasty touches. But dry, and the flavors combine well at times. At others, it's a no and slightly homebrewish. Glad to have tried it but as far as Czech 8° summer ales go, neither mid nor top tier.
