Tap at the brewery tap in Kobe. Dark red/brown colour with small beige head. Smoky roasty aroma, bit of dark chocolate. Taste is slightly bitter, but milky. Nice lingering malty finish. Quite nice, but bit of a confusing one.

7 3 7 3 14 Bottle shared at THT June ’17. Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of roast, chocolate, coco powder, nutty notes and caramel. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. [16/06/2017]

Sampled from bottle at THT June at kwartje. Dark brown with thin greyish head. Dark malts, licorice, light dried fruit notes, dates. Light sweet and bitter. Under medium body and low carbonation. --- Beer merged from original tick of Rokko Porter on 30 Dec 2017 at 12:07 - Score: 7

Keg at Star Board - Kobe. Pours clear, light brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds burnt malts, brown bread, faint cocoa. Light sweet flavour with notes of toasted caramel, some leafy hops, mild cocoa, earth. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with further well toasted malts, some bitter earth and cocoa, brown bread, dried berries. Enjoyable beer.
