With notes of coffee, cocoa nibs and a lingering hint of sweet vanilla this beer is dark, rich and indulgent. We keep ours in the fridge but take it out about an hour or so before we drink it as all that decadence needs a bit of warming up. We pour it fast into a tulip glass so the gorgeous coffee aromas can stretch their legs. If it’s early in the evening, an oyster or two sets it off nicely. If it’s later, a chocolate fondant rounds off this truly extravagant beer.

Black beer, small head. Aroma is malt, roast, coffee. Taste is the same, somewhat watery but not bad, bitter, dry, not bad.

33cl Bottle from AH. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of a proper stout at first, caramel, cocoa and roasted malts, later on it becomes more artificial, wet ashtray, earth. Flavour is of earth, ashtray, charcoal, some roast, hint of vanilla, bitter finish. Light bodied. It's not horrible but it certainly isn't as good as previous ratings suggest imho.

Bottle from local AH, BB 9-3-2019. Dark color, short frothy head. Aroma of earthy roast, milk chocolate and a bit of dark fruit. Slight potgrond, but not annoying. Quite roasty flavor, milk chocolate and cacao nibs. Soft carbonation, bit thin finish. It lacks a bit in body, but its quite a decent take on a NA stout actually.

Bottle from local supermarket. Color: Black, creme head. Taste: Very smooth, creamy. Roasted medium sweet malty, wort, bittery notes of cocoa, notes of lactose and brown sugar. Thin body, just below average carbonation. Pretty bitter palate at finish. Ok when you have to drink alcohol free, although I would prefer some of the better low-alcohol IPA's in that case.

Bottle. Pours black, small tanned head. Smell is lactose, dark malts. But not burned. Hints of cocoa. Taste is roasty, less lactose than expected. Cocoa is very mild. Thin body, good carbo.

Bottle from Systembolaget. God, took a little while to decide whether or not this beer was repulsive and in the end, it is. The smell is just horrendous, like a soggy smokey old sofa left outside. The colour is nice, and there is some promise in the taste occasionally but overall it just takes of smokey dampness. Down the drain, cannot bear the smell everytime i raise the glass to my mouth....why do i try so many alcohol frees to be dissapointed :(

A pleasant and fine stout! Especially at 0.5%.
Black color with a fine beige head. Good lacing. Fine intensity in the aroma. Nice body for a low alcohol beer, and a fine smooth carbonation level. Balanced sweetness and bitterness. Ok lasting flavor. Coffee, roast and lots of cocoa flavor. Semi dry ending.

Creamy beige head soon left a good cover on a jet black still body. Malt, burnt, liquorice & dark spirits aroma. Medium bodied thinning to the back. Sharp & clean on the palate with good carbonation. Taste is much as the aroma with malt, bitter fruit, burnt paper, over stewed coffee but there is a sweetish undercurrent.

Bottle from SB. Deep brown with beige head. Slightly roasted with milk chocolate, some raisins. Very light, yet still tasty. Easily one of the best low abv beers I've had.
