A unique beer balancing on the edge of a Tenner and a Twelver, and yet not an Elevenner. A precisely carved-out taste with the touches of linden wood and walnuts is joined by the smell of a cracked-up crust of freshly baked bread. It deserves to be drunk from a glass facing the sun rays thanks to the ducat-like, goldish sparkle.

Keg at Villa Utsikten, Karlshamn. Clear golden, rich creamy head. Grassy nose with hay, mild butter and tea. Mid sweet with light body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Grass and bread, mild tea. Mid bitter finish. Moreish and pleasant.

PET Bottle. The decision to sell this ONLY in these absurd enormous abominations is weird. The beer itself is special in no way. A pretty classic lager, but with a decent splash of diacetyl - med-light, not tragic amount, but more than I like. The rest of the beer character does not enchant me, with med-light breadiness, but also light grainy astringency. Very little hops character, faint hints of grassy herbal notes. Overall not bad, not great either.

Gezapft. Aussehen: - Klar, goldene Farbe, langlebiger weißer Schaum.

Clear golden with a huge white head. Aroma is clean with malt, grain, bread, grassy, flowery hops. Texture is super smooth with typical Czech sweety note followed by a balanced bitterness, very enjoyable and very true to its style. Lovely.

Pours a clear, beautiful deep golden, with about one finger of white head. Quite quick at dissipating but still leaves nice lacing. Quite good intensity in a relatively simple aroma: delicate cereal/hay base, a bit of soapiness, fresh grassy/herbal notes and the slightest lemonish touch. Taste notes follow the aroma closely, with light to medium sweetness and medium bitterness; a classic yet more bitter than usual taste for the style, especially in a firmly dry finish/aftertaste. Light bodied as obvious but not at all watery, average carbonation. Definitely a nice one, though not impressive to me; maybe a delivered pet bottle doesn't do it full justice.

Drucken på Pivo Friisgatan, Malmö. Klassisk pilsner. Mjuk len och matig. Ganska torr, mineraler, säd, gräs, aningen jäst. Måttlig beska. Mycket gott.
