A spicy red ale with fruity undertones. A taste with hints of caramel and roasted malts, a floral aroma from the Willamette hops and a clean lasting bitterness to finish.

Half pint, cask at JDWs George in Croydon. A beige bubbly head resting on top of a deep amber-brown body. Fragile lacing. Brown malty nose. Caramel and dark bread to the taste buds offset by pine and leafy hop bitterness to the finish. Drinks quite well and fits the season nicely (shared with Finn, 28.11.2015).

Fra cask på George Croydon 28 Nov 15. Delt med Rune. Mørk brun med litt skum som raskt flater ut. Beskjeden nøttearoma. Smaken tørket frukt. Bare det. Veldig tørr avslutning.

Gravity cask at the Wandsworth Common Halloween Beer Festival - Le Gothique, London. Pours clearish, deep ruby with a frothy, white head. The aroma has dried berries and a bit of toasted bread. The flavor is light to medium sweet with dry and toasty brown bread, mild leaf and pine bitterness, some dried berries. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Good condition. Pretty clean finish, well balanced, with light leaves and earth giving moderate bitterness, hints of toasted malts and cocoa, a bit more dried and somewhat leather fruits, berries. Very good.

Cask at Ales and Tails, Twickers, 12/10/13. Reddish amber with a good sized off white head. Nose is biscuit malt, light spice, caramel, dusty orchard fruit notes. Taste comprises biscuit malt, caramel, toffee apple, fruit cake. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light fruit tang in a subtle bitter finish. Decent enough stuff. Sorry - no KB hard ons in this review !

Cask handpull at Lord Moon of the Mall Whitehall. Chestnut colour lasting beige head. It’s a decent fruity best bitter. Good autumnal fruits. Touch of spicy hop on the finish. Reminds me of fallen leaves late afternoon maybe a bonfire going somewhere walking arm in arm with the woman you love who is wearing black leather boots that secretly you just want to get down and lick but it would probably freak her out. Spicy and interesting.
