Cask at the Earl of Essex during my 40th Sheeeeeeenans, 11/10/14. Reddish amber with moderate beige edgeing. Nose is dark fruit peel, light bitter tones, slightly musty, spice, toffee. Taste comprises toffee, earthy strains, plummy, dark fruit wash. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. So so.
