Ein helles Bockbier ist aufgrund seiner deutlich größeren Portion Malz immer etwas Besonderes und lässt die Erwartungen steigen. Hier erfüllen sich die Erwartungen mit einer sehr edlen Aromatik in der Nase, die an Frühstücks-Croissant mit Honig und Mandeln erinnert. Auf der Zunge breitet sich ein Spektrum von hellen Süß-Aromen aus, die in einer milden Hopfenbittere ihren Gegenspieler finden. Die deutlich höhere Viskosität ergibt ein außergewöhnliches Mundgefühl und trägt das Bier zu einem langen und Aromen-reichen Finale.

bottle from mein-biershop. Clear golden colour, white head. Lovely hoppy aroma. Malty start with hints of honey, quite nice aromatic hops, grassy, resiny and herbal. Much nicer thatn expected, with a very nice and characteristic hop-profile.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Mildly biscuity and grainy malty aroma with a tinge of honey and flowery, also delicately herbal hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Biscuity and honeyish malt-character with subtle fruity notes and a tinge of floral and herbal hops; moderately sweet malty and slightly hop bitter finish with a tinge of herbal spice. Clean, easy-going and quite balanced pale Bock. 09.XII.13

Lahev:Golden, clear, lively carbonation, stable white firm head, sweet bisquity-grainy nose with a mild, but distinctive strawy/herbal hoppy background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, quite soft and medium to full bodied; slightly drier, but still sweet and also bitter finish, traces of hops and warming alcohol included. Nice and moreish…

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Marko (thanks). Clear golden coloured, small to medium sized airy white head, sharp alcoholic nose. Sweet malty, grainy and herbal with mild alcohol presence. notes of hops in rather sweet finish but without any alcoholic touch. Interesting and quite good.

A random pick from a Würzburg supermarket, shared with ogivlado. Poured a golden body with a medium sized white head. Grainy malty aroma, slightly oily... hmmm.... slightly herbal too. Interesting herbal/hoppy notes in an otherwise grainy malty lager with notes of pollen. Full mouthfeel but no alcohol presence. Definitely a quality bock.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, toasted, sweet malt, sugar, light hoppy, grassy hops. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, sugar, vegetable notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120324]

Bottle @ Miss January / AA Meeting Afterparty Tasting, March 2012. Pours clear golden with a white head. Lots of grain and grass. Bread and biscuit. The finish has some unpleasant paper and vegetables. Medium bodied.
