Copper Ale is a delightfully light, refreshingly fruity and hoppy beer that’s brewed traditionally using the finest quality Maris Otter malted barley and Golding hops.

Cask @ Ferry Inn, Salcombe. Copper with an extremely thin head. It’s a malty-sweet bitter in style, which is evident in both aroma and taste.

On cask at the Waterman's near Ashprington. Appearance - amber to copper. Proportionate head. Nose - spiced biscuit but mainly caramel and toffee. Taste - more caramel and toffee. Some breadiness. No spice this time. Palate - light to medium bodied with a finish that could be fresher. Overall - so so!

Cask at Prince of Wales, Farnborough. 25/08/16. Torn over this beer. Pretty much zero aroma. In terms of taste/palate it’s extremely soft and sweet, but picking up very little. It is copper and has a healthy off-white head. I suppose it’s harmless - could knock back a few but not really notice.

The Royal Standard, Lyme Regis. Cask. Clear dark amber beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and has mild fine carbonation. Taste is most reminiscent of their best bitter but somewhat watered down. Tangy caramel malts. Tangy dried fruits. Trace of ripe orange. Quaffable. Fine!
