A traditional golden pale brewed with a combination of classic British hops for bitterness & spice and US Cascade for fruity, citrus notes. We carefully blend three different malt varieties for body and the rich biscuit quality which defines the style. Brewed at a sessionalable 3.8% Westway Pale Ale is a classic cask ale brewed the West (London) way.

330ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Biscuity malt, caramel and a hint of cocoa in the aroma. Malty, nutty and biscuity taste with caramel, walnuts and grain.

Golden amber, light haze, dense white head, good lacing
Aroma of soft fruits, light apricot, very faint nose
Taste is just bitter, very little flavour apart from just bitterness, no flavour in the middle, just bitter water
Palate - Light body, watery, slight sour. FInish is dry, very bitter, slight cereal
Overall - Looked good, poor flavour and palate

330ml bottle from Beer52.com. A pale amber pour with a loose white head; grainy aroma; sweet grainy taste with a touch of citrus; and a dry straw and biscuit finish. Pleasant enough, but rather dull.

Cask @ Wetherspoons. A bit hazy orangy color, average sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, slightly hops, a slight tart hint in the background and lightly bitter. Average body and carbonation. Drinkable.

Cask. Leicht trübes orange goldenes Bier mit einer geringen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch angenehm zitronig hopfig, Orangen. Geschmack sehr hopfig bitter, Orangen, citrusfrüchte, lange Bitterkeit, gut!

Gravity dispense at Ealing BF, 06/07/16. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is toasted grain, straw, orange peel. Taste comprises bready malts, melon, orange peel, citric tinged straw, lemon drizzle, grass. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Another whelming blonde from Portobello.

Bottle @ Hart & Spool, Borehamwood. Golden-amber with lager malt in its nose, but a crisp pale ale texture and taste that’s slightly dry and mildly fruity.
