On tap at the Strugglers Inn, Lincoln. Almost black colour with a thin pale tan head. Aroma has chocolate, not a big as the name would make me think, with roasted malt. Taste is a touch milk chocolate. Medium body

On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - chocolate, honeycomb with a dry charcoal note. Taste - the charcoal dominates the chocolate. A bit drier. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a very dry finish. Overall - a bit drier than expected for triple chocolate.

Cask at Sir John Oldcastle, JDW - London. Pours clear red-brown with a frothy beige head. Simple doughy brown bread in the nose with hints of milk chocolate. Light sweet flavor with moderate earthy bitterness, some baking cocoa, ashy roast, leathery dried berries. Light in body with fine carbonation. Finishes with more bitter ash, cocoa, burnt toasted down bread, old leather, raisins. Not bad overall.
