330ml bottle from B&M - Pale golden body, white head. Nose is pretty dull, grainy, a bit of the vanilla woodiness expected. Taste, rather nondescript. Clean, but bland. A little grassy. Unspectacular offering.

A golden beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has malts, some fruitness and smoke. Taste has malts, some generic fruitness and wood. Almost medium bodied, balanced carbonation. There is nothing wrong in this beer but overally, too mild.

330ml bottle bought at Eide Handel. A finger-thick pearl white head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Bright amber coloured body. Oak, caramel and fruity hops on the nose. Malt-fruity taste with vanilla wood. Mild bittersweet end. Easy to drink. Alright now and then to have a beer from Innis & Gunn with its distinctive taste profile (Tromsø 07.12.2014).

28.10.2014, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Small creamy shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, light malts, caramel, vanilla, fresh oak, hay, nuts, toffee. Taste is mild and slightly sweet, light malts, caramel, vanilla, hay, oak, butterscotch, wet grass. Little bitterness, slightly watery mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Fair enough, very quenching and easy drinking though. Probably nice in the summer sun...

330 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a small, lacing white head. Surprisingly weak aroma here, almost nothing at all, nearly just some pale malt with a tiny hint of wood. Flavor is pale, soft malt, slightly fruity and with a lot more oak than expected from the weak aroma. Still not a strong flavor but as such a light beer more oak than this would probably feel unbalanced. Not much bitterness or hop flavors. A bit thin body and moderate in aftertaste. Not bad actually, but rather blend and uninspired, miss a lot of things here. I don’t see this as an Amercan Pale Ale (label) or Bitter (Ratebeer), this is closer to a British golden ale (with light oak).

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a small, dense, off-white head leaving some lacings. The aroma is very perfumed, with some vanilla, citrus and pale malts. Toffee notes and some peachy hints too. The flavor has a distinct toffee and bread flavor in the back, with some vanilla, butterscotch hints and a little bitterness. Medium body, semi-dry and softly carbonated. Fruity, toffee-ish vanilla finish. Not very interesting this one, but at least with lover levels of diacetyl than usual from I&G. 141018

Duft av malt og eik. Klar gyllen farge. tynn hinne skum, ring langs kant. Tørr smak av eik med en anelse whiskey.

Clear deep golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Looks nice. Mild citric and mild fruity, malty and some oak in the aroma. Medium body. Moderate sweet and an ok bitterness. Fruity, citric, some oak and mellow caramel flavor. Mild nice ale. Like a little sister of Nøgne Ø Tiger Tripel.
