Cask handpump at the Cock Tavern - London. Pours clear, pale yellow-gold. The aroma is quite restrained, with hind of sweat, pear peel, green apple. Light sweet flavour, faintly musty, with relaxed impressions of pear, faint grass, lemon, damp straw. Light bodied and soft. Lightly acidic on the finish, with a touch of salty swear, more restrained pear, light bitter pear peel, hay, citrus rind. Perhaps just a little too restrained overall, but still decent.
