Huge, dense pale beige-tan head, piiting in and leaving shards of lace over muddy orangey-brown beer. Perfumed nose, marzipan, frangipane, benzene; glazed cookies; Grainy flavour, sweetened wholemeal bread, some molasses, hints at honey and marzipan, caramel. Leafy, certain dried fruits, old cookes; Bit chewy, rather well-bodied, good carbonation, and in the palate there is some balance. Classical Bock Dutch style.

Bier gedeeld met Tom van V. Het is een erg lekker bokbier, met een lekkere nasmaak. Wel weinig schuim.

Clear amber brown colour, large foamy beige head that recedes quickly to a thick layer, good lacing though. Aroma sweet malty, bit roasted, dark fruits, caramel, candy sugar. Taste medium sweet and medium to light bitter, roasted. Medium body, oily to light creamy texture, average carbonation, finish light bittersweet, roasty and earthy notes. Overall a decent beer (less sweet than most Dutch bocks) pity that the palate a bit on the thin side is.
