Cask half pint at the New Inn, Gloucester. Served a bit too warm. Hazy brown colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of malts, nuts and malt vinegar. Malty flavour with some sweetness, and light acidic notes of English malt vinegar. Probably "off".

Gravity dispense at the Stratford Alehouse, 02/03/15. Clear chestnut brown with a decent off white covering. Nose is biscuit malt, toffee, light spice, bran flakes, dark fruit tones. Taste comprises more biscuit malt, toffee, raisnes, brown sugar. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough ESB.

On gravity at the Tewkesbury Beer festival, 4/02/2011. Deep amber in colour with a small, off-white head. Caramel and berry fruit aroma with some earthy hops. Flavour of sweet cereal malts, with red fruits, leading to a decent bitter finish. Good.
