Pours clear pale yellow with a huge white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast and brett. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, 375ml, at Christianssand Brygghus. A big, fluffy white head forms over an almost clear, pale golden body. Quite funky aroma, piney and resiny, not much malt. Dry on the palate, with a nice carbonation. Medium to full body. Funky, bitter flavor with pine cones and a grassy hint. Lasting bitter and piney finish with a pleasant funky touch. A tasteful and quenching one. 140329

0.375l bottle from Bierkoning. Looks quite good and inviting in the glass this one with it's light cloudy straw yellow golden colored body and a big kinda foamy looking white lingering head. Lots of lovely things on the nose. At first I get lots of sweet citrussy green grapes, then the classic saison yeast kicks in and there are even tones of stalchy grass, mint, pepper and it smells all in all quite nice. Oh, it's dryer in the taste than I expected. Much dryer. Not much sweetness left here indeed. It's light or even thin oily in the mouth and it just above average on the big bubbles. Yeasty sharp citrus flavors. More if those green kinda bitter and almost sour green vine grapes. Slightly mealy as well. Ends with hints of brett and thin pink grapefruit juice mixed with mint. Well, smells better than it tastes IMO, but it's a nice one non the less. 12.03.2014

Beer & Ball Champions League night. Olympiakos - Manchester United. Cloudy yellow with a lasting white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, grapefruit, kiwi and white wine, along with fruity brett funk. Dryish fruity flavour with citrus and tropical notes, and a quite bitter, hoppy finish.

Bottle. Almost clear hay yellow liquid with medium white head. Aroma of citrus, mango, barnyard, grain, grapefruit, tangerine and bubblegum. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of mango, bread, barnyard and white pepper. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Really nice.
