25cl bottle from Conad, in Rimini, Italy. Pours dark blonde, fairly crisp, with practically no foam. Aroma is intense of lactobacillus, red fruits. Body is fairly dense, with marked carbonation. Taste is quite sweet for a geuze, with also good sourness. Finish is nice and short.

Apparent fruity sour aroma. Medium short head, half-clear amber color. Medium sour and sweet, a bit juicy at last. Light to medium body, a little sticky texture.

0.25 l bottle from 'AH' (Den Bosch), bottled in January 2017. Clear, golden to reddish amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, a little sourish, moderately funky and slightly fruity aroma of old lemon, ripe gooseberry, leather, some honey and indeed a touch of sherry. Quite sweet, slightly sour, moderately funky and slightly fruity taste of ripe gooseberry, old lemon, soft rhubarb, leather, sherry and some honey, followed by a short, sweetish-sourish, moderately woody and slightly funky finish. Medium body, smooth, slightly astringent and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not as sweet as expected, quite some lambic character left, pretty well-balanced and refreshing. Maybe not the real deal, definitely not too complex, but way more pleasant than some of those heavily puckering examples of the style.

Butelka 0,375l.

Bottle from One Stop in Bedford. Brownish gold and clear with a touch of carbonation but very little resultant head. Cardboardy/nutty aroma with a touch of basement funk. Taste is sweet with a gentle tartness leading to a medium to long finish. Citrus peel notes in the aftertaste. Odd little beer, I like it well enough but it's not like any gueuze I've ever had.

Bottle, small bubbly creamy head, light hazy deep orange to light copper color, aroma of apple, spiciness, some vanila and funk, fruity bready flavor, empathic fruity sourness but not too dominating, lightish sweetness. Very nice and enjoyable.

25cl Bottle from AH. Clear bronze amber colour, off white head. Aroma of funk, apples, wood, brown sugar, hint of vinegar. Flavour follows but is less funky, mellow tartness. Light bodied. Easy drinking.
