Hazy orange color, small white head. Tartish, fruity, evident white wineous aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Fruity, a bit tart and funky. Merlot is there. Thinnish simple finish. Feels overrated for me.

Light haze on this gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Light malts, mildly sweet. Light floral sweetness. Nice red wine - tangy and fruity. Light finish. Nicely winey.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Daniel. Pours unclear yellow-gold with a frothy, white head. Lovely aroma, with ample peach, some lemon, a little pale wood. Light to medium sweet flavour with mellow acidity, some juicy lemon, more peach, wheat. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately dry in the finish with more lemony, some woody accents, more peach. Easy drinking.

0,33l bottle at home. Bottled 20151126. BB 20201126. golden clear (with some particles) color, small white head. smells citric, acidic, mustard (estragon), horseradish, spices, some wood, some white wine notes. bit wired but quite lovely smell. medium body, soft carbonation, light mouthfeel. tastes citric, white wine notes, horseradish again, spices, some bitter herbs. finishes quite dry and lightly acidic with notes of citrus and some vinous notes. nice but also a bit weird (or lets call it unique). good but not totally well-rounded.

Draught @ Γ–lrepubliken. Pours very hazy tiny burnt yellow with a big frothy offwhite head that leaves some thick lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly fruity and tiny funky with crackers, white bread, lemon juice, pink grapefruit juice, grapes, yoghurt, moist wood, minerals, barnyard, lemon zest and very subtle hints of green peas. Taste is tiny sweet, slightly sour, tiny bitter, fruity and funky. Mouthfeel is tiny dry, tiny tart, slightly tannic astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and slightly sour with crackers, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, mango, grapes, yoghurt, moist wood, barnyard, minerals and lemon zest. Nice experimental stuff. Highly enjoyable and one of the better offerings from this brewer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Gehenna (Merlot BA) on 15 Oct 2015 at 18:57 - Score: 7. Original review text: Solid hoppy sour with prominent wine ba character.
