Can at Matteo abode, big thanks to LEIGHTON, 31/10/16. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is skunky hop, spruce, grapefruit, pine, grapefruit, juicy citric peel, cantaloupe melon. Taste comprises pine resin, pine needle, grapefruit, orange pith, mango, Um Bongo, stuffed full of tropical goodness. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a juicy/danko hop closure. Solid DIPA ... eminently drinkable.

Can 1 pint. Pours a cloudy golden with tiny, floating impurities and a small, creamy, white head. Very dank aroma, loads of pineapple and cat pee. Rich body, very fruity, massive hops in an astringent way. Very much a slap in your face, rough and unrefined. Finishing touches are not excessively bitter. 270916

Tasting at Matt’s, can
Cloudy blond color. Moderate hop aroma, fairly nice, a bit dank, not impressive. Mild residual sweetness, nice pale crackery malts in the background, expectedly overwhelmed by the hopping, moderately fruity, dank, more resiny, but also with some vegetable trace.
Very good beer, but not a winner.

500mL can, pours a cloudy orangey yellow with a small white head. Aroma is hazy, dank and earthy, with lots of earthy, feety hops, and biscuity malt. Flavour is earthy and citrusy, with lots of juicy citrus hops, some herbal, almost fungal notes, and dry biscuity malt. Bizarre stuff. A little muffled and too fungal. Decent.

Can - Odd sweet fruity citrus. Cloudy yellow gold with a rich white head. Sweet and bitter with some can’t like citrus. Very odd and hard to describe.

Cloudy pale tan. Thin head. One of those hop mutt aromas, lots of different elements but nothing particularly coherent. Has a soft malt character. Hop character is a bit off, maybe, some funky citrus, light but vague tropical notes, maybe a touch floral.

Can. Pours a very cloudy yellow straw color with a large white head. A big sweet hop resin nose. Lemon zest, toast, papayas, very smooth. Solid iipa. Reminds me a bit of Sticky Hands. Only negative is the sediment. Nothing crazy but a bit too much.

Draught @ the taproom. Hazy bright orange with small foamy white head, strong lemon peel aroma, medium carbonation, slightly sour citrusy taste, thick body, long dank finish. Very good brew.
