Keg at BDSB - London. Pours clear orange-ruby with a creamy topping. The aroma holds leathery berries, light earth, some grain. Light-medium sweet flavour with more leathery berries, grapes, lightly toasted bread and grains, a little vanilla and caramel. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Pretty good balance in the finish, dynamic, with more toasted caramel, bread, ripe berries, leather. Good depth. I like it.

On keg at the Brewdog Edinburgh. Appearance - damson colour. A thin head. Nose - red cherry with cream. Lovely herbs at the back. Taste - light woody vanilla and then the cherry kicks on again. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - beer of the day so far!

On tap @ BrewDog, Soho. Looks really good this one! A warm amber, almost purple red blurry looking one with a small sidesticking off-white filmy head. Minimal lacings. Smells good also. Sweet cherries, lots of red berries here. Traces of yeast and wood also. Like it. Tastes quite nice also. More tart in the taste. Get cherries and strawberries. It's mild oily in the mouth and just below average on the prickling bubbles. Wood tart tail. Not bad. 21.10.2016
