Cask at Redwald's Ale House, Rendlesham, Suffolk. 4.7%. Pours almost black with s small beige/grey head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, dark fruits, moderate roasting and light coffee. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation. Very good.

Cask at GBBF 2006. Very dark brown with disappearing beige head. Quite a bit of caramel. Quite a decent dark mild. Some dark malts. Decent depth of flavour. Bit of grainy powder on end. Nice mild.
