Kompaan Hop Weizen Bock is a dark brown beer with a beige head. The aroma consists of roasted malt, vanilla and the necessary spices. The taste also shows caramel and coffee. Nice, complex beer.

Clear deep amber colour, tall frothy beige head, good retention, heavy lacing. Aroma roasted malts, wheat, citrus, caramel, nutty notes. Taste light heavy sweet and medium bitter, malt, roasty, chocolate, fruity, grassy. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, chocolate, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, not your typical Weizenbock but tasty.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange to brown with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty and slight caramelish to breadish. Sourish, fruity and slight citric. Smooth fruity, crisp hoppy and bitter far finish.

Bottle, 6.5%. Clear dark brown with medium beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, yeast, bread, hop and a little metallic. Flavour is malt, caramel, little over carbonated, bread, medium sweet and a little bitter.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy dark amber with a lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, wheaty, caramel, light yeasty and light hoppy. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. High carbonation. 121116

Tap at Tuulensuu, Tampere. Dark brown color, medium-sized off-white head. Woody hoppy aroma with hints of chocolate and banana. Medium-bodied. Banana, toasted malts, finish has some citrusy hoppyness. Balanced hoppy weizenbock.

Dark amber pour with a tall tan-coloured head. Smells like caramel and lambic funkiness, probably from the yeast. Interesting taste - gueuze-bitter, a bit sour and salty. Not sure if it was an infected bottle, or if this is how the beer’s supposed to taste.
