Kompaan Hop Weizen Bock is a dark brown beer with a beige head. The aroma consists of roasted malt, vanilla and the necessary spices. The taste also shows caramel and coffee. Nice, complex beer.

On tap at PINT Bokbierfestival 2015. Hazy, brownish amber with a big, creamy, tan head. Grassy-hoppy aroma of tangerine, lemon and apricot. Grassy-hoppy taste of lemon, apricot and grapefruit, bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very hoppy, nice!

330ml bottle. Murky, dark brown colour with average to huge, thick, frothy, fairly lasting and lacing, beige head. Minimally roasty, dark malty aroma with a nuttily touch, grassy hoppy overtones, hints of orange and mandarine. Taste is nuttily dark malty, minimally chocolately, bitter and fruity hoppy overtones, notes of orange and mandarine. Matching chocolate and orange notes, not really Weizenbock standard; but a nice.and welcome extension of the spectrum.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a murky brown colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grassy hop, zesty citrus, wheaty, light banana. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a grass nettle hop palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

@Birthday party, Maurice schenkt donker bruin met licht bruine kraag. aroma van caramel, mout en aardse tonen. matig tot redelijk zoet, redelijk tot stevig bitter, matig zuurtje, sterk, matige donkere fruiten, hop, den, beetje BIPA tonen, redelijke koolzuur, lichte body, dunne body, lage co2, afdronk bitter en over het algemeen niet erg bijzonder.

Bottle from Burg Bieren, Herfst 2014 version, BB Sept 2016, large sample. Almost clear copper color, big frothy light brown head. Aroma of citrussy hop, slight caramel, hint of roast, bit sweet candy. Almost like a black IPA. Quite bitter in taste, bit sweet caramel fudge, slight spicy, bit clove. Not much of weizen (bock) left, so totally not comparable to what you might expect if it was a german weizen bock. Dont know what they tried here, but it’s pretty tasty. Bit dry in the finish, slight sharp.
