Kompaan Hop Weizen Bock is a dark brown beer with a beige head. The aroma consists of roasted malt, vanilla and the necessary spices. The taste also shows caramel and coffee. Nice, complex beer.

Bottle. Dark Brown with good sized off white head. Lots of hops indeed, lime peel, pomegranate and some pine resin. Light underlying roasted malt base. Touch of sweetness but mainly hoppy and roasted bitter. Medium bodied. Ok but I don't get much bock or weizen...

Bottle @ home. Dark brown color, average sized light brown head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, smoke, smoked malts. Taste malts, smoked malts, hops, lightly earthy, quite bitter. Medium body and carbonation. I think it’s a very good beer but I don’t really like the smoke.

On tap at PINT BBF ’14. Brown colour, beige head. Aroma of hop, smells nice and fruity, citrus, banana, wheat, some caramel and dark fruits. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, wheat, banana, dark fruits, nice citrusy hop flavours, light grassy, bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Tasty stuff.

Röstig hopfiger, etwas zu stark karbonisierter Beginn. Harmonisch, röstig bleibend, wenig herb. Rund, spritzig. Röstiger Nachhall. 11/12/11/11//11

33cl bottle from ABCbeers. Thin off white head. Hoppy aroma. Hoppy aftertaste. A very nice mixture of beer styles. Very drinkable. I added it as a dunkler bock as it was the closest I could find. Kompaan don’t brew to styles very often. That’s not a criticism as I love their beers and it’s nice to see innovatian and quality in their brews. :-)
