250 ml. sampled bottle @ home. Purchased @ Kaapse Brouwers. BBF 17-12-2014. Oeps, sigh,… Should have read the label better. Pours lightly murky orange, extremely high carbonation & head fizzes away like soda. Nose is odd overly thick yeast, light unappealing yoghurt, odd lactic yeasty & yoghurt cantaloupe, odd vitamin note. Carbonation is extreme, dominates to the limit,… Taste is extremely weird, light cigarette (seriously?), cantaloupe peel, weird vanilla, hazelnut, yoghurt, unsweetened waffle, thick yeast & expired vitamins, huge vitamin, big effervescent tablets,… WTH did I just try + big waste of money. Serious disappointment.

Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Poured a hazy straw colour with a round bubbly white head. The aroma is yeast and light melon. The flavour is light acid mineral with a crisp refreshing yeast, mineral citrus light acid, melon palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Loved the massive melons :-)

Bottle shared at Craig’s. Pours cloudy yellow with a fizzy, white head. The nose has some dry wheat, peach, melon. Light sweet flavor with dry wheat, faint peach, lemon zest, hay. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Clean and dry on the finish with more dry, pale malts, citrus zest, lemon rind. Not bad.

Bottle. Murky stuff almost like grapefruit juice, minimal head. Lots of aroma hops, citrus, lemon peel, spicy yeast. Very dry peppery finish with some woody touch. Light bitter with a tart fruitiness and just a light hint of sweetness. Great stuff for just 3% ABV!

750ml bottle courtesy of Beermoth Scott. Cheers! Murky, pale apple juice colour. Opened this yesterday and it had a huge, frothy white head, and loads of carbonation. Finishing it a day later, and the head, and some of the carbonation isn’t present. And I think it’s better for it. Aroma is quite unusual. Fair bit of melon. Maybe banana skin. Light, Simcoe skunk in the background. Some kind of vanilla ice cream sweetness, too. Taste sets off dry. A little sweetness on the lips. Then a zesty bitterness digs in. Really light, airy palate. Well carbonated (still). Very easy drinking. Finishes dry, then gentle, lasting bitter. Really enjoyed this. Good stuff.
