Cask at The Pennsylvanian (Spoons), Rickmansworth, Herts. A dark ruby, mahogany coloured pour with a medium creamy white head on top.Fruity, malty, caramel aroma. Tastes fruity, malty, caramel, very sweet but quite enjoyable too.

Cask at Allied Arms, Reading. 19/05/17. Vague fruity aroma. A slightly hazy chestnut. Thin off-white head. Sweet and sour. Sour fruit and berries. Caramel. Light bodied. Indistinct carbonation. Low key finish. Did not enjoy this. Just became too sweet and sour for me.

Carry out from the brewery. An attractive reddish copper pour with a fast fading cream head; malty aroma with just a hint of spice; malty caramel taste; and a touch for spice to finish. A pleasant heavy.
