Pale gold in colour, with a crisp malt edge and sharp bitterness. Plateau has been hopped at different stages of the brew, with a big mix of US & NZ hops to satisfy the discerning drinker.
Full in flavour, zesty, refreshing & low in alcohol, this beer will have you returning to the bar for another.

Cask at the Cask, Pimlico, 04/02/14. Clear pale blonde with a well appointed white had that stays for the show. Nose is toasty malts, grassy, citric tones, lemon sherbet, bread dough. Taste comprises, bitter orange, lemon zest, toasted malts, popcorn. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, grassy closure with light hop bitterness. Decent low ABV GB affair.

Cask at Cross Scythes, Sheffield. Clear, straw colour. Thin, tight, white head. A looker. Crisp, lemon, grainy. Taste is grainy sweet to start. Then dry, with a decent hop bitterness. Very good.

Cask at The Hanging Bat. Clear golden body with a thick, shiny white head. Excellent lacing. Bright, fruity aroma - papaya, tangerine and pale malt. Flavour is like the aroma, very light and fruity, but with a peppery finish. Thin, flat body with an oily texture. A decent Pale Ale - itโs just a bit light on flavour and the body is a bit watery.

Cask at Hanging Bat. Very pale golden yellow pour, good creamy white head. A sulphurous note apparent straight away, with lemon in the background. More citrus hop notes on the taste, good light bitterness. no malt character in evidence, but a nice pale nonetheless.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Islington, London, 21 Nov 2013) Golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grass and resin. Malty, fruity taste with peaches, citrus, tropical fruit and grassy/floral hops in a finish with a generous bitterness. Light body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and refreshing, with a generous hop character. Nice one.

On tap at Tap East Stratford. Clear pale gold lasting white head. Sherberty hop aroma. Soft in the mouth. Reminds me of Hophead on top form. Easy drinking and delicious. Good quality beer with no faults fir such a light abv pale ale. Pretty good 3.7/5 Re rate cask gravity at Firkin Alehouse several times, excellent top notch easy drinking but challenging session ipa.

Craft Clerkenwell. Cask. Thanks to Leighton. Almost clear gold beer, tidy white head. Light smooth palate with light fine carbonation. Light smooth malt, semi sweet. Marmalade hops bring a little bitterness. Light finish. Decent if standard Golden.
