Keg at the London Brewers Market. Pours clear reddish gold with a frothy-bubbly off-white head. The aroma holds moderate spicy chai, toasted grains, orange peel. Light sweet flavour with surprisingly strong leafy bitterness, low chai, some toasted grains, dried caramel. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry finish, some further mellow chai, brown bread, leaves and earth. Not bad.

Cask-conditioned at the Sir Michael Balcon (JDW), Ealing 30/1/2017. Dark brown, with a frothy, off-white, head. Fruit cake malts, cinnamon and clove spice, a touch of leafy hop and a gentle, vaguely warming, finish. Ok.
