Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol 11/10/2017. Deep brown in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Sweet, brown sugar notes dominated, this beer, alongside a few leafy hops and some dense malts. So so.

Cask ½ pint at Gig House (JDW), Wokingham, on October 16, 2017.Nutty, malty, sweet, bitter, biscuit taste. Nutty, sweet, a tad floral aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium to medium high bitterness. Clear dark brown color, off-white head with lacing. Sweet, nutty scent.7/4/7/3/14=3.5

Cask handpull at The Penderels Oak JDW London. Clear mahogany colour lasting beige head. House yeast aroma. Malty in the mouth Fruity. Ok enough. Yeasty malty bitter. Not overly bitter on the finish. Some vanilla

Cask at the Ivory Peg, Chelmsford. Pours mid brown with a small beige head. An very average bitter / brown ale.

Cask@ Ivory Peg, Chelmsford. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, nuts, fruits, hops and malt.

Cask at the standing order. Pours deep amber, nose is burnt toffee, nuts, caramel, vanilla, bready, taste is sweet toffee, vanilla, grassy.

Cask at the standing order... Copper... Thin white lacing... Soft sweet toffee fruit.. bready yeasty nose... Long sweet maple.. Light nutty malts

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - deep amber to brown. Nice lacy off white head. Nose - toffee and light biscuit. Taste - apple and toffee. Light spice. Kind of apple crumble thing going on. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture. Dry tangy finish. Overall - grew on me.

500ml bottle from B&m. Deep Amber colour with a foamy head. Nutty aroma yes but is tastes like nut flavour nit nut. If that makes sense. No a good beer.
