Bottle in merken, holland. Light orange color, big white head. Aroma is big malts with lots of yellow fruit, i feel wheat maybe because of the huge flavor of banana and citrus and yeast typical of weizenbock. Light spice, almond. Taste is sugary with a decent balance, hops is a bit subtle sadly. Creamy texture, proper carbonation, finish is quite long, yeasty super smooth with a burning alcoholic dryness. Delicious tripel and personal preference, good good good.

White creamy head stayed on a hazy dark orange, slowly carbonating body. Citrus, spice, yeast & pepper aroma. Medium bodied, sharp on the palate with a cloying back. Banana, citrus, yeast, spice, confectionery & preach tastes with a long tangy peppery finish. Excellent.

Returned to home from a beer buying venture with Spec’s in downtown Houston. And so it arrives in my go-to Chimay glass with a yellow-gold liquid and a persistent pearlescent white head steadily replenished by a vigorous bubble action. The nose is slightly sweet, nectarine and dough. The first sip, interesting, sweet as in light fruit, apricot and then a stern bitterness on the tongue. Curious, maybe a true tip of the hat to being a trippel. Easy drinking, not exactly challenging but pleasant. My universe has been expanded.

Bottle. Cloudy orange with a big frothy head and lovely lacing. Aroma is estery and fruity. Oranges. Taste is oranges, citrus fruits, spicy coriander and some yeast. A little bit of sweetness is followed by a long bitter hoppy finish. Medium to strong carbonation. Nice Tripel.
