16.05.2018 -- 0.33l bottle from germany, bb 07.2020. pours a hazy pale golden with a steady head. aroma of coriander, pears, slight funk. flavour of pears, funk, a bint too sweet.

Barwa złota, lekko zamglone, piana biała, dość obfita, całkiem trwała. W aromacie brzoskwinia, białe wino, niezbyt intensywny. W smaku półwytrawne, estry owocowe, głównie winogrona, brzoskwinia, trochę słodowej bazy. Goryczka średnia, wysycenie średnie, mało przyprawowości, lekki alkohol na finiszu. Średnie, niezbyt charakterne.

Bottle from Pezinská pivná pumpa. Unlike dubbel this is more smooth and enjoyable beer. Yup, alcohol is not trying to hide, but why would it? It's Belgium after all.

75cl bottle. Pours hesitant gold with medium grain white foam. Aroma is banana esters, alcoholic. Body is dense and intensely carbonated. Taste is intensely sweet, with some underlying bitterness. Finish is relatively long and with carbonation.

Aus der Flasche am 2016-05 getrunken. Dieses goldene, klare Bier kommt mit einer feine Süße, eine deutliches Aroma von reifen Bananen und etwas Kräuternoten daher.

Pours cloudy orange, nice head of foam, good lacing. In my LT chalice.
Smells malty, of brown sugar, Belgian yeast and spices, slight hop bitterness.
Tastes of caramel, candi sugar, esters, light perceived bitterness. Very very light oxidation.
Medium body with exuberant carbonation; all the La Trappe beers open with nay a hiss yet the carbonation always turns out to be lively.??

Bottle in merken, holland. Light orange color, big white head. Aroma is big malts with lots of yellow fruit, i feel wheat maybe because of the huge flavor of banana and citrus and yeast typical of weizenbock. Light spice, almond. Taste is sugary with a decent balance, hops is a bit subtle sadly. Creamy texture, proper carbonation, finish is quite long, yeasty super smooth with a burning alcoholic dryness. Delicious tripel and personal preference, good good good.
