One of my more preferred tripels. The body is more round and full, akin to a dubbel, but still it is a quite bitter beer. Craft beer store Dresden

Tap at Brasserie V. Filtered orange-tan body. Steady, frothy, white head. A little doughier, maltier than most Tripels. Leans into the malts more than the candi sugar. Really sublime, true Dutch Tripel. Notes of honey, clove.

0.3 l bottle from 'AH XL' (Nijmegen), bottled in September 2018 (one month old). Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, quite yeasty-spicy, slightly floral and a little fruity aroma of banana, clove, vanilla, Belgian candy and traces of citrus. Quite sweet, slightly bitter, rather yeasty-spicy, slightly floral and a bit fruity taste of banana, clove, vanilla, Belgian candy, sultanas, candied apricot and a touch of citrus, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, fairly yeasty-spicy, grassy finish with a touch of booze. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Nice, well-balanced Tripel, way hoppier than expected, just a little too boozy for that abv.
