Pale blonde beer. A careful blend of barley and wheat malts provide the backbone of this hoppy strong ale. Citrus hops dominate the aroma and crisp bitter finish ensures satisfaction.

Cask at the Pembury, 31/08/17. Clear golden with a decent off white head. Nose is earthy fruit tinds, straw, hint of citric peel, bread, biscuit. Taste comprises dried fruits, spice, earthy, biscuit crumbs, fruit cake. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a bitter edge. Ok but lacks depth for a 6% job.

Gravity cask at the 2016 Cambridge Beer Festival. Dark gold. Aroma of tangerine, mango, apple and a whiff of sulphur. Pithy bittersweet taste. The malt backbone shines thorugh in the latter half of the sip to the finish. Bitter aftertaste. An eminently drinkable strong ale.
