Using the best produce the galaxy has to offer we've made this coconut infused porter. After fermentation we infuse the beer with coconut that has been roasted to caramel log levels. A dry porter full of dark & roasted malts, this is finished with a lingering coconut sweetness.

Malts: Maris Otter, Cara Malt, Chocolate, Roast Barley, Black Malt, Dark Munich, Oats
Hops: Cascade, Columbus

On keg at Shilling. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - roast and chocolate. Toffee too. Coconut if you send out a search party. Taste - very light chocolateand again coconut if some imagination is used. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - didn’t get big coconut but a nice porter.

Keg at Shilling Brewing Company. Dark brown body with a thin beige head that slowly fades. Very faint lacing. Aroma of coffee, Twiglets and dark chocolate. Flavour of charred wood and ashy malt. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Pretty good considering the low ABV.

Keg at Shilling. It pours black with a decent off-white head. The aroma is toasted malt, umami, some sweet toasted coconut, earth, coffee grounds and cacao nibs. The taste is dry, bitter, rich roasted malt, earthy, coffee grounds, slightly charred, soft coconut sweetness and cacao with a drying, roasted finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Coconut is well judged. Nice.
