Let’s face it – we love big, flavorful stouts. As luck would have it, our friend Jeppe at Evil Twin Brewing feels the same way. We decided to brew a beer together that took elements from our favorite stouts we each produce to come together as one beer. Bible Belt takes elements we love from Prairie Bomb! and combines them with Evil Twin Brewing’s world famous stout, Even More Jesus. The end result is a smoky, spicy stout that is sure to please the pallet.

Sampled at THT June tasting. Dark pour with a thin, almost non-existent tan head. Tons of coffee, coffee liquor, chilli, chocolate, dark fruit. Full bodied, low carbonation and a roasty, chocolatey, coffey aftertaste.

Bottle kindly donated by rouhlas, many thanks, man Almost black color with small tan head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, sherry. Taste, roasted malt, peanuts, roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, wood, vanilla, bourbon. Alcohol is dangerously hidden. Very tasty.

Bottle shared by Cuso. Many thanks. Very interesting. Has the richness of imperial stout, even amplified by some barnyardy hay notes. At the same time feels well attenuated and easy drinking. Very good, but probably more interesting than great.

KRS 130216. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma iand flavour is mocha, alcohol, licorice, sugar, roasted malt, spices. Full body. Nearly perfect beer.

Tap@ taphouse. As Evil twin /Prairie Bible belt. Poured black with a thin brown head. Somewhat spicy, blackcurrant nose, roasted malt, licorice. Flavor has sweetness, berry tartness, licorice, spicy notes. Smooth, with the berries dominating. Weird, but quite enjoyable.

Clear dark brown beer, aery irregular beige head, unstable, non adhesive, dissipates quickly. Aroma: lots of coffee, roasted, sweet, caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very roasted, coffee, soft chilli burn, bit sweet, caramel, lots of dark chocolate. Aftertaste: hoppy bitterness, chilli burn, coffee, mocha, some alcohol, little spicy, cinnamon touch.
