Let’s face it – we love big, flavorful stouts. As luck would have it, our friend Jeppe at Evil Twin Brewing feels the same way. We decided to brew a beer together that took elements from our favorite stouts we each produce to come together as one beer. Bible Belt takes elements we love from Prairie Bomb! and combines them with Evil Twin Brewing’s world famous stout, Even More Jesus. The end result is a smoky, spicy stout that is sure to please the pallet.

355 ml. bottle @ home. Purchased from Malt Attacks. Pours a blackish dark fruits faintly brown with no head. Nose is massive vanilla & cacao / chocolate spread, almost comical, excessive, near chemical but great all the same. Taste is chocolate syrup, molasses, nearly artificial, faintly almost vegetable with huge vanilla, cacao nibs, sugar, finish is surprisingly strong chili, solid burn lingering. Real syrupy body. Almost a comical adjunct heavy beer, ridiculous but also lots of fun & delicious stuff, silly but I am a sucker for this.

Bottle@Himmeriget, Copenhagen - pours black as night with a thin beige head. Aroma and taste combines roasty and sweet malty notes, some light burnt malty nuances, some chilli spicy bite on the palate, great mouthfeel, rich and opulent, rich and complex, what a brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. A black one, topped by a small, tan head. Lightly dusty cocoa and dark chocolate aroma with loads of roasted malts, cocoa, dark chocolate, Just f..in’ lovely. The flavor has a fine alcohol touch, with the same cocoa and dark chocolate. Coffee, dark toffee and a fine bitterness. It’s full-bodied, warming and smooth on the palate, with a lasting finish. Roasted malts, lots of cocoa, chocolate, coffee and a boozy touch. Lovely and really tasteful. Wonderful. Hope I can have this one again. 160213

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, cocoa and hint of chili. Taste is heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, cocoa, dark chocolate and chili finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

0,33l bottle at home. black color, small dark-coffee colored head. smells of cofee, roast, ash, charcoal, some cocoa powder, some vanilla, licorice, bitter chocolate, bitter herbs. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes rather strong of vanilla, some licorice, some annoyingly heavy coffee notes, light ash, some bitter herbs, earthy. finishes with some roast and some dryness with rather too much vanila, licorice and a light chili burn. In general I am not a fan of vanilla beers, unfortunatly this was no exception, the nose was quite lovely and the vanilla notes were very subtle there, but on the taste just too much vanilla and the flavors were all over the place, not a fan.

Pitch black with no head. Interesting aroma, tobacco, green peppers, perfume/talc, cocoa. Tobacco dominates in the aroma, it's dusty, green peppers, spent coffee, too much alcohol, spices.
Unbalanced, but interesting.

Pitch black, with brown head. The aroma reveals coffee and chili peppers, dust, light leather, liquorice; powerful. Full bodied, yet the mouthfeel is not too thick; it has a rich chocolate flavor, but the coffee and chili don't necessarily improve it; also some liquorice in the end.

A black beer, a head is almost medium and brown. Aroma has sweet maltyness coffee, roastiness, chocolate, cocoa and richness of raisins. Complex, maybe even too complex and messy. Taste has strong chocolate, coffee, rich, some riped fruits, hint of chilis in the end. Almost full bodied, low carbonation, smooth, not sticky. Strongly chocolate. The glass is empty too soon, very tasteful.

Special bottle to celebrate a certain ticket purchase... Black with fizzy tan head. Strong roasted coffee and chocolate aroma, Vanilla too. Chewy, slightly sticky and smooth mouthfeel. Flavour matches aroma and adds solid bitter bite and late chili and alcohol burn. Nice.
