Mead with black tea and lemon.
It's been a long day. I had to hide out in my burrow for the better part of the day waiting for those damn golfers. But today was my lay, I finally did it. I didn't even need a reason. I wonder if they received total consciousness. It's like a Cinderella story, out of nowhere, a former dancing gopher becomes a killing champion. I had my special drink, a half & half, while I got in touch with that force in the universe that makes things happen. All I had to do was stop thinking...let things happen...and B. THE BALL

Keg at CASK. It pours cloudy orange with a minimal head. The nose is soft, fruity, red apple, lemon peel, honeyed fruits, pear and earth. The taste is smooth, lemon peel, peach, apricot, honey, red apple, earthy black tea, lightly bitter with a drying finish. Medium body, light carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Nice balance and rather drinkable. Decent.

On tap at the Brick Store Pub. Light, gold color, with a small, bubbly, white head. The aroma is strong honeycomb (clover, sugar, and beeswax), with some lemonade, raspberry, and ginger. Very sweet, with a light, dry sourness, and a touch of bitterness. Surprisingly well balanced for a mead. Medium body, syrupy, sticky, and chewy. Overall, this is an excellent, complex, and interesting mead.

Draft - Sweet rich honey. Cloudy gold with no head. Lemony sweetness with a honey finish, I don’t get the hop profile.

500ml bottle. Poured a orange golden color with a very wispy small head. Aroma was black tea notes, crisp lemon citrus, with dry honey notes. Flavor was sweet, with a decent amount of tea. Strange, but enjoyable. Really is a bit like an Arnold Palmer.

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. A honey blurry colored one this with a faint little sidesticking white top. Lots of honey and honey wax in the aroma here. There's apple zest, the green sour kind with hints of some sort of citrus fruity. Kumquat? Think so. It's not directly sweet or sour, more of a thing in between. Balanced I guess you can call this. Honey still ks in the taste as well, lots of grass. Sweet nectar, almost tropical with pineapple. Strange finish, but a really cool name. 02.05.2014

Bottle (courtesy of BiiruBierBeer) pours with a deep clear gold body that can leave behind thin wiry legs. The big aroma booms with apple and tropical fruit and then a tea like note at the end of the draw. The taste is similar as silky sweet apple notes mingle with mango like tropical fruitiness. Into the finish a pleasing earthy black tea sensation helps dry this out a tad as well as add more depth and richness to the experience.

Bottle from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours brassy gold with a slight white head. Aroma is tea. Med body or nearly. Flavor is tea with some citrus and arguably honey. It’s not very dry, but seems somewhat astringent. Very unusual.

Bottle bought @ biere-revolution.com. Pours hazy golden with no head worth mentioning. Smell is sweet and slightly fruity with high quality honey, lapsang souchong, lemon juice, bergamot oil, orange zest, fresh ginger and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, slightly sour and slightly fruity with honey, lemon juice, earl grey tea, dry wood and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is round, tart, slightly astringent and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet, sour and slightly fruity with honey, lemon juice, lemon zest and hints of earl grey tea. Simple yet interesting, refreshing and tasty!Re-rate! Several glasses from kegs that has found its way all the way here to Sweden. Lovely balance between the sweet honey, sour and tart lemon and astringent tea. I’m a huge fan! --- Beer merged from original tick of Kill All The Golfers on 12 Dec 2014 at 19:16 - Score: 9. Original review text: The lemon , tea and honey blend perfectly. I love this mead!
