Pours a thick, uber-hazed yellow with a thin white head and tons of lace. Aroma gives up mild sweet grain and modest citric hops. Tastes sweet and cereal-ish, offering up a corn-like backbone with a huge bag of lemondrops on top. Slight notes of dank weed, pine, melon, and apples, but mostly cereal sweetness and a boozy back end. Crooked Stave rules with their sours, but they need to step up their IPA game.

Keg at the source. Pours cloudy gold with a creamy white head. The nose has some ripe citrus fruits, bready pale malts. Medium sweet flavour with minimal bitterness, some jammy tangerine, ripe lemon, doughy pale bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, more ripe citrus fruits, low bitterness, simple pale bread. Alright. Drinkable gear.

On tap at Crooked Stave, pours an opaque bright golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, a moderate dank character, and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with resinous hop oils, some darkness and biscuity malt. Oily on the palate, with exceedingly high drinkability. Wonderful.

Sample at The Source. Cloudy golden color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is citrusy with herbal hop and malt notes. Medium-bodied with and floral and tropical character and flavors of citrusy hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
