Sampled at the brewery. Pours a hazy lemon yellow with some fizzy white head. Nose of grass, hay, straw, spice, pepper, lemon, coriander. Flavor is malty, lemon, spice, coriander, grass, straw. Dry, spicy finish. Decent wit.

Tap @ River North. Pours a bit hazy, light yellow appearance with a white head. A bit of spiciness from the yeast, along with unmalted wheat, and an overall sweetness from the wheat malts in the aroma, but not spicy like many other witbiers. The flavor is much of the same with a nice, soft yet a bit spicy, wheat malty flavor without all the bullshit spices that usually just overly added to witbiers. Not bad.

Not all that wit-like - more like a straight up Belgian pale, if only for the fact that the expected spices are not really evident in the aroma or flavor - also a fair bit cleaner, without the yeastiness - some peppery phenols and notes of lemon and lemongrass - lightly wheaty finish - a slight starchiness on the tail end - liked it at first, but wound up just finding it okay.
