A pale, slightly-sweet summer ale. Oat, wheat and pale-crystal malt combinations provide the back-drop for lots and lots of late-hopping utilising Motueka from New Zealand, and Chinook and Cascade from the States.

14/9/2022. Bottle bought at Brampton Brewery Beer Cellar. Pours dark golden amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is malty, leafy, grains, caramel, butter, ripe fruits. Medium sweetness with moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Odd stewed twang to finish. Not the brewers best though it seems to have been kept remarkably consistent over the last 10 years, rating wise.

Cask @Kitty’s. Pours amber in color with a thick white head. Dusty malty aroma with some apple juice. Flavor very similar, fresh apples notes, some hay. Minerals. Drinkable, but boring.
