Bottle. Opaque black liquid with small to medium tan head. Aroma of wood, booze, bourbon, vanilla, licorice, chocolate and toffee. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of raw sugar, raisins, booze, bourbon and wood. Full bodied with low to medium carbonation. Lots of bourbon character. Bit over the top.

Bottle generously shared by AJax, thanks man! Motor oil color with a oily iridescent shine on the top of the stout. Thin tan head mixed with the oily sheen. The aroma is a large Jameson like whiskey up front and foremost. Light underlying chocolate notes.
Deep layers of roasted malts. Coffee, dark chocolate, burnt caramel, sugar, and alcohol burn from whiskey. The whiskey has a strong character that has the lingering warmth after the finish. The smoothness is really incredible considering the 12.9 ABV and strong notes of whiskey. As far as the imperial barrel aged stouts I’ve sampled this is up with BCBS. Wonderful job!

I have no clue who sent me this.
A - It pours viscous like dirty old motor oil. Looks viscous as Hell. No head at all. It’s pitch black, totally black and just thick.
S - Smells like straight up straight whiskey So much liquor on the nose but in no way burning or boozy just a huge liquor smell paired with the richest chocolate.
T - Whoa. The taste is incredible. A fuck ton of whiskey just gobs of it. A crap load of chocolate, a touch of hazelnut and some fresh espresso with layers of red velvet cake, vanilla bean, toffee and straight up brownie batter polished off with this gigantic whiskey explosion that lingers for ever!
M - Thick, oily, hearty and everlasting mouth coating thickness
O - This is not KBBS..not CBS BUT it is very much like a more whiskey forward bourbon county with gobs more chocolate. I still prefer BCS but this is pretty incredible!
