Adam from Edge Brewing Project (Australia) flew over with the best Galaxy hops he could find, carefully stowed under his seat. Together with the crew from Dugges we then crafted this IPA, with the aim of perfectly balancing hops, yeast, malt and water. Something with character, yet invigoratingly drinkable.

On tap at The Bottle Shop Bermondsey. Cloudy pale gold dirty muddy appearance lasting white head. Tropical fruit hop aroma. Dank hops in the mouth ok mouthfeel. Lots of dank tropical fruit hop then nothing much else. Decent just a bit dank for me.

Keg at the bottle shop during the tap takeover. A clouded yellow orange coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is big wet grassy hop, silage, wheat, pine needle. Flavour is composed of light grains, jammy fruits, lemon, doughy wheat, grassy, little apricot. Palate is semi sweet, rounded doughy moderate carbonation, flabby.

(On tap @ Omnipollos Hatt, June 5 2016) Pours completely opaque pale orange juice colour with a pile of white froth that fades to a wall of lace. Super fruity and sweet nose with peach and pineapple juices, passion fruit, kind of a creamy drinking yoghurt feel, sweet berry compote, slightly grassy but mostly all about fruity hops. Flavour showcases how fresh the hops are (kegged out of the tank 3 days ago), passion fruit, kiwi, papaya, green onion, mango, leafy and grassy. Lightly sweet malt. Finish is rather astringent with hop leaf, grass and green garlic, citrus pith, some lingering sweet powdery biscuit malt. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. The freshness is awesome but there’s something a little rough about it, too much ’greenery’ coming through I think.

On tap at Hatten. Hazy yellow with a white head. Hoppy aroma of mango, pineapple and light malt. Similar taste. Sweet and easy to drink. Reminded quite a lot of juice. The finish was bitter.

Keg at Omnipollos Hatt, Stockholm. Murky yellow/gray, rich creamy head. Huge pineapple and mango aroma. Sweet with medium-full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Mango purée, spun sugar and white pepper. Mid bitter finish. Modern, sweet, fruit juice-like IPA.

Tap at Hatten. Cloudy yellow with white head. Hoppy and fruity aroma and taste with tropical fruit, citrus and hay. Astringent. Grainy, dry, hoppy finish. Strange bitterness but quite drinkable.
