The base of L’enfant Terrible is Bravoure. This beer is transferred to used wine barrels at the end of the fermentation. In the course of one and a half years this beer is undergoing a major transformation. Wild yeasts and bacteria out of the woods convert complex sugars into acids. Aroma of.vinegar, sour apples, barnyard, some brett, some wood, some citrus. Flavour is vinegar sour, fruity, very tart. Elegant and nicely balanced.

Bottle from Pauwels. Orange colour, gusher, off white head. Aroma is vinegar sour. Taste is pretty sour, pickled onions, balsamic vinegar. Sharp. Tough to get past that. Interesting, but not sure I like it so much. Want to try again some time to give it another chance.

Bottle. Amber color. Peat, lemon, oak and pineapple in the aroma. Sour flavor with lemon, ash, grapefruit, charcoal and peat. Complex beer, very typical mix of lambic and peaty flavors.

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2017. A slightly hazy golden beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of tart fruits, wood, grapes. Taste of tart fruits, some smoked malt, bacon.

Bottle - Earthy mushroom, sweaty and woody notes. Cloudy dark copper gold with a frothy white head. Earthy woody notes, nice light sourness and more earthy funk. The earthy barrel notes are very prominent.
