Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, rich gold with a creamy white head. Candies fruits in the nose, some caramel, old pine, bread. Medium sweet flavor with crackery malts, toasted pine, light earth. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Bitter finish, some toasted grains, earth, more aged pine. Seems a little dated.

On tap at the brewpub. An unclear orange colored beer topped by a defense off-white head leaving curtains. Piney, citrusy aroma with some tropical fruits. Pleasant malty sweetness and a nice carbonation level, with a good bitterness and citrus peel. Full body. Long, bitter finish. A surprising find, really good. 130807
