On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out dirty earthy Belgian yeast and biscuity malt. Flavour is dirty, with earthy notes, Belgian yeast, and some stale biscuity malt. A bit stale and musty on the finish. Not too enthralling.

Dark blond color, just hazy, with compact head. Some aroma of spicy yeast, some stale pond water. Dry mouthfeel, with a good strength, mild malt flavor, some spicy yeast, but also too much vegetated, which translates into a chicory-like bitterness; at least it's not mellow and cloying like other American attempts at the style.
A bit messy, but overall ok.

Keg at the brewpub, 01/02/16. Pale golden blonde with no head. Nose is light spice, lemon squash, straw, bready notes. Taste comprises lemon drizzle, yeast esters, clove, straw, light candyfloss. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so generic Belgium affair ... tick box brewing exercise ... yawn.
