Bottle at home, Reddish Brown, small head. Aroma is malt, caramel, bourbon, dark fruit, sweet, some wood and vanilla. Taste is the same, quite sweet, and somewhat boozy, not bad, but could be better

Marrón rojiza. Efervescente al servir. Sin espuma. Aroma malteado, whisky, licor, caramelo. En boca carácter claramente licórico, pero tiene un sabor agradable. Caramelo, fruto seco. Final alcohólico, sabroso.

Bottle @ home shared with Thompson. Hazy dark orange to reddish color, average sized off-white to beige head. Aroma reminds me of a standard Belgian Strong Ale. Don’t get rye, don’t get smoke, don’t get bourbon. Flavor the same: I don’t get any rye, don’t get bourbon and don’t get smoke. Just sweetness sugary. And I don’t get alcohol even though it’s 15% ABV!! Quite weird though that Thompson sampled it from the same bottle and got all these things but I just didn’t get anything. Also very dangerously drinkable as I don’t get any of the 15% ABV.

hazy brown to amber colour, minimal off-white head; aroma and taste of vanilla, toffee some fruitiness, herbal notes, alcohol, white wine and smoke; enjoyable as beer, but not a perfect one as quadrupel

Sampled from tap at ’Uiltje Bar’. Clear, dark brownish amber with an off-white head. Sweetish, malty and a little fruity aroma of caramel, vanilla (bourbon), candied apricot and a touch of oak. Sweet, very malty and slightly fruity taste of caramel, vanilla (bourbon), honey, some rye, candied apricot and some oak, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, a little warming-alcoholic finish. Medium to full body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite nice, but not that over-whelming. Didn’t get anything of the promised smoke though.

Shared bottle at Kingsnight Avoidance Tasting. Hazy reddish amber with white head. Very dusty sweet alcoholic ale. Light sweet. Sugary sweet body average carbonation. Boring actually. --- Beer merged from original tick of Inverno on 21 Nov 2017 at 21:28 - Score: 6. Original review text: 3.2
