Bottle. Deep brown liquid with medium light tan head. Aroma of bread, nuts, dried fruit, light chocolate, caramel and candy. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of chocolate dried fruit, light coffee, light ash and toffee. Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Maybe a bit too dark and roasted for the (classic English) style, but pretty tasty and drinkable. If interpreted as a modern American Brown Ale, pretty spot on. No apparent off flavors.

Clear almost black color with some ruby notes. Nice beige head that leaves a fine lacing down the glass. Dark malt, mild roasted, toffee, herbal and mild fruity. Nice balanced aroma. Fine body. Mild mellow sweetness and a fine bitterness. Soft carbonation. Coffee, roasted, bready, herbal and mild fruity flavor. Really pleasant and tasty brown ale.

Draught@SBWF 2014. Hazy ambery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is nutty, some floral and fruity notes, a bit toasted malts as well as some wooden and mild syrupy notes. Flavour is leathery, but otherwise quite similar to the aroma of the beer. A bit light in the body, but otherwise very nice.
