Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a dense, white head. Lightly zesty, citrusy aroma - blending in with the Hefe yeastiness. Medium body, very fruity, clove, banana and all that but also a solid shot of hops leading to a surprisingly bitter finish. 290115

Draught @ The Rover. Pours very hazy orangish golden with a frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of sticky lacing and trace on the glass. Smell is fruity and estery with wheat crackers, banana bread, grapefruit juice, pineapple, mango, grass, pine and lemon zest. Taste is slightly bitter, fruity and estery with wheat crackers, banana bread, unripe mango, unripe pineapple, grass, pine, orange zest and hints of grapefruit juice. Mouthfeel is slightly dry, tiny astringent, sparkling and medium bodied. Finish is bitter, fruity and estery with wheat crackers, grapefruit juice, unripe mango, grass, pine, unripe banana, soil, minerals and lemon zest. Solid hopfenweissen but the carbonation is a bit on the aggressive side. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hopfenweizen on 19 Nov 2014 at 19:32 - Score: 7. Original review text: Nice estery fruity and hoppy
