Draught. Opaque black liquid with small light tan head. Aroma of licorice, dried fruit, port wine, light tomato puree, oak, light dark chocolate and plums. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with notes of raw sugar, dried fruit, licorice, oak and port wine. Medium to full bodied with low to medium carbonation. Pretty nice.

Draught @ All In Beer Fest 2014. Pours blackish brown with a small brownish beige head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and fruity with roasted malts, oatmeal, burnt caramel, pears, coffee, chocolate, moist wood, raisins, chili, liquorice and alcohol. Taste is sweet, bitter, malty and fruity with roasted malts, burnt caramel, raisins, coffee, chocolate, moist soil, alcohol, sherry, moist wood and hints of pears. mouthfeel is round, tiny roasted astringent, tiny tart and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with roasted malts, raisins, pears, moist wood, sherry, chocolate, coffee and hints of alcohol. mediocre. Suspect this isn’t what was intended…
