Sunnanåkers Skafferi drivs av Ann-Christin Tjernberg Hamberg och odlar havtorn som handplockas med omsorg och förädlas i olika former. Det här mjödet är gjort på honung från blåbärsblom, lingonblom och hallonblom från Trogsta men också från råsaft av Sunnanåkers handplockade havtorn. Det har en tydlig syra och fruktighet från bären och till viss del även färg. Ett mjöd med råsaft från havtorn kräver längre lagring än normalt på grund av havtornbärets stora komplexitet.

Bottled. Yellow colour with no head. Aroma is honey, some mild sea buckthorn and a bit alcohol sweetness. Flavour is honey, floral tones, some mild sea buckthorn along with mild herbal tones to it. Nicely balanced without being all sweet nor too sour from the sea buckthorn.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer &WF, first weekend, 2016.Clear pale golden color, thick legs. Sweet, Japanese pears, some green apples scent. Sweet, tart, leaves taste. Medium full mouthfeel, tart finish. Hints of butter aftertaste.

Bottle. Clear grape liquid with green hue and no head. Aroma of honey, citrus, sea buckthorn, light sulphur, earth and flowers. Taste is dry with notes of citrus, light honey, light alcohol burn and pears. Light to medium bodied with no carbonation. Drinkable but but one sided.
