People have been held hostage for too long, drinking soulless mass-produced beer. They even think they like it. Their condition has a name: Stockholm syndrome. We will now set them free with this Modernist take on the traditional red ale, a brew with full malty body, crisp bitterness and aroma from Cascade, Nelson Sauvin and Amarillo hops. Like all our beers, Stockholm Syndrome is hand-made, bottle-conditioned and unfiltered to ensure the truest and most genuine flavour. This red ale is best served fresh in a snifter. Enjoy your Modernist beer!

Draught at Katarina, 11/29/16.
Light amber with strawberry-blonde hues, moderately-high clarity and a small beige head of moderate retention.
Lightly fruity from both yeast and hops with not too much specialty malt present, thankfully. No iced tea or hard, caramel-heavy breadiness. Cherry, grapefruit and mandarin all present lightly, with soft honey a bit of fresh yeast-like nuttiness and no alcohol or flaw.
Very fruity and rustic in the mouth with ample carbonation, strong attenuation and light malt sweetness though I think a little more malt depth could be in order here. Not over-hopped, with pleasant fruitiness and citrics balancing the malt fairly well.

I advise you to leave the sediments in the bottle.
Cloudy brownish color with a thick off white head. Good lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and a bit rich carbonation. Bready, a bit citric and some sour fruity notes.
